Hebridean Adventures

Hebridean Adventures

Amazing fully-guided Scottish wildlife-watching cruises around the Outer Hebrides and as far out as St. Kilda from Stornoway, Mallaig and Ullapool. Plus we also offer a range of activity cruises partnering with expert trip leaders in sea kayaking, hiking, photography, wild swimming, nature writing, art and snorkelling to give you 2 holidays for the price of 1 as we will still be looking out for the wildlife too of course!

Join us on board our comfortable and family-friendly converted fishing boat MV Monadhliath for one of our short 2 to 6 night cruises. We can sleep up to 8 on board in 5 cabins which makes us the perfect size for a private charter by a family or group of friends so you get us all to yourselves.

The local seas and coastlines are some of the very best in Europe for the wealth and variety of whales, dolphins and seabirds they contain, not to mention the porpoises, basking sharks and seals, plus the magnificent golden and sea eagles they play home to.

Whether it’s spring for the puffins and other spectacular seabird colonies of the Shiant isles, high summer for the whales and dolphins of the Minch, or autumn for the awesome sounds and sights of rutting red deer stags along the sides of the sea lochs that creep inland, there is always something amazing to see (and photograph!)

Hebridean Adventures guides are very experienced and happy to answer questions whilst pointing out the species and our friendly crew will keep you supplied with tea and coffee while you sit and watch for wildlife from our specially-built raised observation decks.

On our overnight cruises our cook will take care of all your meals for you too and you will get the chance to spend the nights anchored up in some of the most spectacular and remote scenery around the Western Isles, listening to the splashing of the seals and the cries of the eagles and oystercatchers. Our guide Muriel might even sing you a song with her guitar.
